Céline Van Outysel of Antwerp Crowned Miss Belgium 2020
Céline Van Outysel of Antwerp was crowned as Miss Belgium 2020 in the 52nd edition of the Miss België pageant which took place on 11th January, 2020 at the Plopsaland Theater in De Panne, Belgium. She succeeds Elena Castro Suarez, the outgoing Miss Belgium titleholder, who represented Belgium at Miss World 2019 pageant. Céline Van Outysel will now represent Belgium at Miss Universe 2020 or Miss World 2020.

The newly crowned Miss Belgium 2020, Céline Van Outysel is 23 years old and is a lawyer by profession. “I fell on the podium myself tonight and is, therefore, the best example that you just have to get up when you fall, even in life,” said the new Miss Belgium. For the fifth time in six years, Miss Belgium comes from the province of Antwerp.

During the same pageant, Celest Decaestecker of West Flanders was titled as the first runner up. If the newly crowned Miss Belgium is unable to compete at both Miss World and Miss Universe pageants due to clash of dates, then the first runner up shall be representing Belgium at one of the pageants. Meanwhile, Anicca Van Hollebeke was adjudged as the second runner up, Laura Vanquaillie was announced as the third runner up and Elize Baron finished as the fourth runner up to Miss Belgium 2020.
