Carla Rodrigues De Flaviis Crowned Miss Portuguesa 2018
Carla Rodrigues De Flaviis was crowned as Miss World Portugal 2018 during the grand finale of Miss Portuguesa 2018, which took place on July 28, 2018. She succeeds Filipa Barroso as the new Miss World Portugal and will now represent Portugal at Miss World 2018 wherein Manushi Chhillar of India will crown her successor as next Miss World.
Carla Rodrigues De Flaviis is originally from Spain and stands 175 cm tall with her vital stats being 90-63-92. She has also been the winner of Miss Lara pageant erstwhile during 2011.
Soon after being crowned as Miss World Portugal 2018, Carla Rodrigues De Flaviis opined, “So many unforgettable experiences that today become a reality. Thank you to the organization for the opportunity to have all these experiences we are all winners because of the effort we have made and the lessons we have learned. In only hours we will know who will present to Portugal.”
Portugal has been participating at Miss World pageant since 1959 but is yet to win the first Miss World crown. The closest Portugal came to winning Miss World pageant was in 1971 when Ana Paula de Almeida was adjudged as the second runner up.
