A Pre-Pageant Analysis of Femina Miss India West 2018
Tonight we shall get to know the remaining and last set of state representatives for Fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018. The grand finale of Fbb Colors Femina Miss India West 2018 is slated to take place in Pune on May 13, 2018. Last year, out of four states, three states from the west zone placed in the final Top 15 of Femina Miss India grand finale. While, Aishwarya Devan from Maharashtra landed in Top 6, Audrey D’Silva from Goa and Aditi Hundia from Rajasthan placed as Top 15 semi-finalists.
This year, the competition from the west zone seems to be comparatively weaker than the other zones. While north zone has strong candidates like Meenakshi Chaudhary, Anna Kler, Gayatri Bharadwaj, Sumita Bhandari and Himanshi Parashar and east zone has brilliant representatives like Lily Darnei, Mary Khyreim and Stefy Patel, we are yet to see the similar magnanimous potential from the candidates vying for their respective states from the west zone.
So without any further ado, let’s have a look at different state candidates and the strengths they possess to shine in the journey ahead.
I must say that this batch is miles ahead than last year and definitely an upgrade! Whosoever wins Gujrat this year might be placing at Fbb Colors Femina Miss India 2018 grand finale. While Nehal Chudasama has the fierce body and impeccable styling sense, we have Anushka Luhar on the other hand, who slays the runway with her performance and fierce photoshoots. While being an anchor gives Nehal an edge over others since she is a confident public speaker, we have Anushka on the other side, who is a Campus Princess flag bearer, and this year the batch of Campus Princess is not only stunning but incredibly meticulous, it is quite possible that she may win it all and join the league of her Campus Princess sisters, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Himanshi Parashar, Nimrit Ahluwalia, Sumita Bhandari, Gayatri Bharadwaj and so on! Meanwhile, I would call Heena Achhra the most pleasant surprise of this batch. It was when I saw the interview round of Heena during the auditions, I reckoned that she is here with a vision. What I really admire in Heena is that she is not at all made up, but come across as someone who is really spontaneous and approachable. If she continues to work with the same fire in the zonals, she has the potential to take home the crown. To rest my conclusion, it is honestly anybody’s game, and who ever shines on the finale stage, will win it.
Last year the very energetic and sexy, Audrey D’Silva represented Goa at Femina Miss India pageant and even placed as a Top 15 semi-finalist, this year I see those lively vibes missing in the batch. While the batch is a decent one with Aashna Gurav, Kezaia Caldeira and Vrishabha Sharma, I believe the crown is Aashna Gurav’s to win! She has stood out effectively since the beginning in all the shoots and videos. I am rooting for her win.
This year Muskan Golash, Nikita Soni and Sonakshi Singh Rawat are vying for the title of Femina Miss India Rajasthan. I believe that Muskan’s biggest weakness is her social media inactivity; her strength is her alluring beauty which stands out in all the pictures and videos. However, having said that I feel that the crown is between Nikita Soni or Sonakshi Singh Rawat. While Nikita has the experience of competing in pageants, Sonakshi has that “it” factor which shines brightly. All in all, either of the woman will take home the crown.
While Apurva Chavan has the childlike innocence, Radhika Joshi’s biggest strength is her spontaneous aura and confident presence of mind. Meanwhile, we have Mehak Punjabi, who has also done many shoot campaigns erstwhile and stands out effortlessly. Honestly, it is anybody’s game. However, if I were to choose a winner it would be Mehak Punjabi.
So this was all about my review about west zone candidates. Do let me know your favourites in the comments! Until then, see you! 🙂
