Road To Miss USA 2018: Taking A Closer Look On Wyoming

Considered to be one of the least successful states at Miss USA pageant, Wyoming has managed to enter the semi-finals only twice. While, Beth King was adjudged as Top 10 finalist at Miss USA 1986, Claire Schreiner is the second and last woman from Wyoming to enter semi-finals as Top 15 semi-finalist at Miss USA 2010. Wyoming is yet to win its first Miss USA crown.

This year 27 years old beauty, Callie Bishop from Casper will be representing Wyoming at Miss USA 2018. Callie is a renowned face in pageant industry and has won Miss Wyoming Teen USA previously in 2008.

The energetic and vibrant beauty queen is well trained in various genres of dance including modern, jazz, lyrical, tap, hip-hop, and classical ballet. Callie is so passionate about dance that she has even received her Bachelors Degree of Arts in Theater in Dance. Not only that, Callie is also a yoga teacher, placing a large importance on living a healthy and balanced lifestyle, starting every morning with positive affirmations.

After losing her father, who was suffering with cancer in May and then almost losing her own life two months subsequent to winning her title, she realized how precious life is and hence since then has become impassioned to serve in a better and more imperative way.
