Sumita Bhandari Crowned Femina Miss India Uttarakhand 2018
Sumita Bhandari was crowned as Femina Miss India Uttarakhand 2018 at Fbb Colors Femina Miss India North 2018 coronation gala which was held in The Leela Palace, New Delhi on April 12, 2018. Sumita Bhandari succeeds Anukriti Gusain as the new Femina Miss India Uttarakhand and will now represent Uttarakhand at Femina Miss India 2018, hoping to succeed Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World India.
The coronation gala of Fbb Colors Femina Miss India North 2018 took place after various sub contests and training sessions by the former Miss India, Neha Dhupia, who was the mentor of the stated zone.
Last year, north zone sweeped all the major titles at Femina Miss India with Manushi Chhillar from Haryana not only winning Miss World India title but also Miss World 2017, meanwhile Sana Dua from Jammu and Kashmir was crowned as Miss United Continents India 2018. Also, the zone dominated Top 5 with Shefali Sood from Uttar Pradesh and Anukriti Gusain from Uttarakhand securing their spots at the same.
The 55th edition of Femina Miss India is all set to begin in the month of May. The contestants are hoping to fill in the big shoes of the reigning Miss World, Manushi Chhillar as the next representative of India at Miss World 2018. The grand finale of Femina Miss India 2018 is expected to take place in the month of June in Mumbai.
