Miss USA 2018: Road To Crown Begins!
Miss USA 2018 will be the 67th edition of Miss USA pageant which is slated to take place on May 21, 2018 in Shreveport-Bossier, Louisiana. During the conclusion of the pageant, Kára McCullough of the District of Columbia will crown her successor as new Miss USA. The winner of the pageant will represent the United States of America at Miss Universe 2018, hoping to succeed Demi Leigh Nel Peters of South Africa as the next Miss Universe.
The coronation eve of Miss USA 2018 will be hosted by Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey, who was crowned as Miss Teen USA 1998. Vanessa Lachey has formerly served as a backstage correspondent for Miss USA 2001 and has even been a co-host of Miss Universe 2007.
Texas is the only state to win maximum number of Miss USA titles with nine victories followed by California with six wins and District of Columbia, Hawaii, New York and Illinois with four wins. United States of America is the only country to have won maximum number of Miss Universe crowns with total eight crowns. The last woman from USA to win the Miss Universe crown was Olivia Culpo, who was crowned as Miss Universe 2012.
