Daria Kartyshova Wins Krasa Rossi 2018
Daria Kartyshova was crowned as Miss Earth Russia 2018 in the grand finale of Krasa Rossi 2018 on February 28, 2018 in Sochi. Kartyshova Daria succeeds Lada Akimova as the new Miss Earth Russia, and will now represent Russia at Miss Earth 2018, wherein Karen Ibasco of Philippines will crown her successor as next Miss Earth.
23 years old, Kartyshova Daria stands 173 cm tall and loves to spend her leisure time in ballroom dance. The newly crowned Miss Earth Russia 2018 hails from Nizhny Novgorod.
Although Russia has never won the Miss Earth crown, the country holds the record of winning three elemental titles in the courtesy of Lada Akimova (Miss Earth Fire 2017), Anastasia Trusova (Miss Earth Fire 2014) and Viktoria Shchukina (Miss Earth Air 2010). Russia has been placing at the Miss Earth pageant since two consecutive years.
