Shreya Rao Kamavarapu Crowned Fbb Colors Femina Miss India Andhra Pradesh 2018
Shreya Rao Kamavarapu was crowned as Femina Miss India Andhra Pradesh 2018 at Fbb Colors Femina Miss India South 2018 coronation gala which was held in The Ottera, Bengaluru on February 24, 2018. Shreya Rao Kamavarapu succeeds Srishti Vyakaranam as the new Femina Miss India Andhra Pradesh and will now represent Andhra Pradesh at Femina Miss India 2018, hoping to succeed Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World India.
The coronation gala of Fbb Colors Femina Miss India South 2018 took place after various sub contests and training sessions by the former Miss India, Rakul Preet, who was the mentor of the stated zone. During the same event, state representatives from Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana were also crowned.
Last year, only two states from south zone could make it to semi-finals at the Femina Miss India 2017 pageant where both Miss Kerala, Mannat Singh and Miss Karnataka, Swathi Muppala finished as Top 15 semi-finalist.
The 55th edition of Femina Miss India is all set to begin in the month of May. The contestants are hoping to fill in the big shoes of the reigning Miss World, Manushi Chhillar as the next representative of India at Miss World 2018. The grand finale of Femina Miss India 2018 is expected to take place in the month of June in Mumbai.
