Mayke Aendekerk Wins Miss Earth Belgium 2018
Mayke Aendekerk was crowned as Miss Earth Belgium 2018 on January 27, 2018 in the grand finale of Miss Exclusive Belgium 2018. She succeeds Lauralyn Vermeersch as the new Miss Earth Belgium and will now represent Belgium at Miss Earth 2018, wherein Karen Ibasco of Philippines will crown her successor as next Miss Earth.
Belgium debuted in Miss Earth in 2002 and the franchise was under the Miss Benelux contest until 2011. Miss Belgium International acquired the franchise from 2011 until 2013. Miss Exclusive acquired the franchise of Miss Earth in 2009 and is is considered to be the biggest pageant across Belgium. Belgium is yet to win its first Miss Earth crown.
