Miss Nicaragua 2018: Road To Crown

Miss Nicaragua 2018 is slated to take place on March 24, 2018. During the conclusion of the pageant, Berenice Quezada from El Rama will crown her successor as the new Miss Universe Nicaragua, who will then represent Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2018 wherein Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa will crown her successor as next Miss Universe.

Meanwhile, the first runner up to Miss Nicaragua 2018 will represent the country at Miss International 2018, wherein Kevin Lilliana of Indonesia will crown her successor as next Miss International. During the conclusion of Miss Nicaragua 2018, Miss International Nicaragua 2017, Helen Martínez will pass on her crown to her successor.

The pageant is also expected to send the representatives to Miss Grand International 2018.

Nicaragua last placed at the Miss Universe pageant in 2013 when Nastassja Bolívar was adjudged as Top 16 semi-finalist alongside bagging the title of Best National Costume. On the other hand, the nation last placed at the Miss International pageant in 2016 when Brianny Chamorro was titled with the third runner up title and won the subtitle of Best National Costume. Nicaragua is yet to win its first Miss Universe and Miss International crowns.
