Aimee Caroline Nseke Wins Miss World Cameroon 2018
Aimee Caroline Nseke was crowned Miss World Cameroon 2018 on December 30, 2018 in the coronation eve held at the Congress Palace of Yaounde. She succeeds Michelle Angel Minkata as the new Miss World Cameroon and will now represent Cameroon at Miss World 2018, hoping to succeed Manushi Chhillar of India as next Miss World.
The newly crowned Miss Cameroon is a student in Economic Law at Haute école de gestion Arc of Neuchâtel, Suisse and is a former Miss Cameroon Switzerland. During her reign as Miss World Cameroon Aimee will focus on the fight against blindness, particularly amongst albinos. She defeated 24 other contestants to win the title of Miss Cameroon 2018.
During the same event, Mercy Joyce Ashu Arrah was titled as the first runner up, Angue Evina Vicky was adjudged as the second runner up and Beatrice Doudou was announced as the third runner up. Meanwhile, Lucie Johanna Eyike Nemi and Louise Mileine Essangui Mack finished as the fourth and fifth runner ups respectively.
Cameroon started participating at Miss World pageant since 2002 but has never managed to secure its place in the semi-finals or quarter-finals.
