Priyanka Kumari Might Wear The Sash Of India At Miss Intercontinental 2017
Though no official confirmation has been made from the Femina Miss India Organization yet, it is believed that the last year franchise holder of Miss Intercontinental India, Senorita India does not hold the franchise anymore. Apart from Senorita India, no other organization holds the franchise of the Miss Intercontinental pageant in India.
Also, since there had been massive uproar from the side of pageant experts and aficionados in India with regard to the Organization not sending the runner up to any international pageant, it is believed that the Femina Miss India Organization has pondered on sending their second runner up, Priyanka Kumari to Miss Intercontinental 2017, when the pageant itself is hosted by India.
Priyanka Kumari, who has been trained by Ritika Ramtri under the Tiara Pageant Training Academy, is not just an amiable soul, but has also won major subtitles like Miss Rampwalk and Miss Goodness Ambassador at Femina Miss India 2017. She is a performer without any qualms. Hence, if the rumours turn out to be true, it shall be highly likely that India might grab its third Miss Intercontinental crown this year.
India has won two Miss Intercontinental crowns in the courtesy of Elyzabeth Antita Reddi, who was crowned in 1978 and Lara Dutta, who was crowned with the title in 1997. Lara Dutta later on became the second woman from India to win the crown of Miss Universe in 2000.
Miss Intercontinental 2017 will be the 47th edition of the pageant and is slated to take place in Mumbai, India in the month of November later this year. About 60 countries will compete for the title of Miss Intercontinental 2017, hoping to succeed Heilymar Rosario Velazquez of Puerto Rico as the new queen.
