Clarissa Bowers is Miss World United States 2017
Clarissa Bowers from Florida was crowned as Miss World America 2017 on August 13, 2017 at the Linda Chapin Theatre in Orlando, Florida. Clarissa Bowers succeeds Audra Mari as Miss World United States and will now represent United States of America in the coming edition of Miss World which is slated to take place in Sanya, China on November 18, 2017.
The grand finale of the Miss World America 2017 pageant was graced by the reigning Miss World, Stephanie Del Valle from Puerto Rico. The newly crowned Miss World United States defeated twenty seven other delegates to clinch the right to represent United States of America at Miss World 2017.
At the same event, Maureen Montagne from Arizona was adjudged as the first runner-up and Chance Cessna from District of Columbia was titled as the second runner-up. Emanii Davis and Alexandra Curtis finished as third runner up and fourth runner up respectively.
During the coronation gala of Miss World America, Miss Teen World America 2017 pageant was also conducted. Gracen Grainger was crowned as the first ever Miss Teen World America. Her runner up court included, first runner-up Alyson McNair of North Carolina, second runner-up Rebekah Holsenback of South Carolina, third runner-up Jillian Elliot of Lousiana, and fourth runner-up Laken Giles of Florida.
