Swathi Muppala To Represent Karnataka at Femina Miss India 2017
Ruhika Dass, who was crowned as Femina Miss India Karnataka 2017 during the south zonal crowning ceremony of Femina Miss India 2017 has confirmed of not keeping well since last few weeks. Ruhika was not seen in the inaugural activities of the pageant and her absence came across as a huge shock to many pageant fanatics who were counting on her as one of the front-runners for the title of Femina Miss India 2017.
After a week has already passed since the pageant has begun, the pageant fanatics were agitated with the absence of Karnataka state from the pageant, for which some inside sources decided to reveal the news that Swathi Muppala will be the new official sash bearer of Karnataka at Femina Miss India 2017.

Since Swathi Muppala has been intimidated quite late, it would be interesting to see if Karnataka could fare well in the competition of Femina Miss India 2017 depending on her preparations and work on “Beauty with a Purpose” project.
Also, the official statement from the Femina Miss India Organization was soon released, clearing the clouds on the aforementioned matter.
fbb Colors Femina Miss India Karnataka 2017 Ruhika Dass, who was one of the contenders in the running for the Miss India title this year unfortunately had to withdraw from the contest owning to ill-health. Ruhika shone at the South-zone auditions where she was crowned Miss Karnataka and even went on to clinch the title of Bata Miss Rampwalk during Miss India South sub contest. One of the youngest finalists this season, Ruhika was determined to do well at the pageant. She is a state-level badminton player and has worked actively at an NGO called ‘Let’s line together’ for 10 years along with being a designated business executive officer at an MNC. Ruhika started her modelling career at a tender age of 4 and it came as no surprise to see her emerge out victorious and represent her state. All the 30 state representatives made their way to the fashion capital, Mumbai, last week and since have been juggling between their hectic schedule which includes shoots, store visits and much more. Reportedly, Ruhika has been keeping unwell since the time she landed in the city and thought would get back to her routine in a couple of days after enough medication and rest. However, things changed for the worse when there were no improvements seen in her health, which eventually got her to decide to fly back home withdrawing from the pageant. Miss India organization released a statement on the same,”We have had an unfortunate incident of Miss India Karnataka Ruhika Dass pulling out due to medical issue. As an organization, we are keen to have a representation from the state. Hence we may be filling up the spot with a suitable and eligible candidate.” We wish Ruhika a quick recovery.
