Femina Miss India 2017: East Zone Winners Crowned
Femina Miss India 2017 will be the 54th edition of the pageant and is slated to take place in the month of June. During the conclusion of the pageant, Priyadarshini Chatterjee will pass on her crown to her successor. The winner of Femina Miss India 2017 will represent India at Miss World 2017 and the runner ups will represent India at Miss Grand International 2017 and Miss Supranational 2017.
The second zonal coronation was held in Kolkata on March 28, 2017 wherein the shortlisted titleholders from North East states were crowned along with the winners of Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Orissa and Sikkim.
During the coronation gala of Femina Miss India East 2017, Priyanka Kumari Bharti was crowned as Femina Miss India Bihar 2017 and Roshni Ghimirey was titled as Femina Miss India Sikkim 2017. At the same event, Vamika Nidhi was adjudged as Femina Miss India Jharkhand 2017, Christeena Biju was titled as Femina Miss India Odisha 2017, Vinali Bhatnagar was crowned as Femina Miss India Chattisgarh 2017 and Shivankita Dixit was titled as Femina Miss India West Bengal 2017.
The pageant was televised live at Jio TV. The show was hosted by the reigning Miss World India, Priyadarshini Chatterjee.The coronation gala of Femina Miss India East 2017 was judged by Usha Uthup, Abhishekh Dutta, Parambrata Chatterjee, Bhaichung Bhutia and the mentor of the east zone, Dipannita Sharma.
As the show began, the north east state representatives were crowned by the reigning Miss World India, Priyadarshini Chatterjee.
Thereafter, the finalists from different states walked the stage for different segments of the competition, prior to which the subtitles were allocated to the contestants-

- Miss Rampwalk- Priyanka Bharti (Bihar)
- Miss Talented- Rody Hnialum (Mizoram)
- Miss Vivacious- Neha Jha (Bihar)
- Miss Photogenic- Anita Kumari (West Bengal)
- Miss Fashion Icon- Vamika Nidhi (Jharkhand)
As the competition progressed, contestants walked down the ramp in the gorgeous evening gowns by Komal Sood and Indian attires by Shravan Kumar.
