Alicia Aylies is Miss France 2017

Miss Guyane 2016, Alicia Aylies was crowned as Miss France 2016 on December 17, 2016 at Park & Suites Arena in Montpellier in the 87th edition of Miss France. She succeeds Iris Mittenaere of Nord Pas de Calais and will now represent France in the coming edition of Miss World and Miss Universe.

Alicia Aylies beat 29 other delegates to win the coveted title of Miss France 2017. The coronation eve was hosted by former Miss France, Sylvie Tellier, who is also the current national director of the pageant alongside renowned television personality, Jean-Pierre Foucault.


18 years old Alicia Aylies hails from Martinique. Currently a science graduate, the newly crowned Miss France is enrolled at the University of Guyana in law department, hoping to become a lawyer .

Till date, France has been able to produce only one Miss Universe under the representation of Christiane Martel and one Miss World under the representation of Denise Perrier. The nation claimed its first and last victory till the present time long back in 1953.
