Miss World 2016: “Beauty with a Purpose” Finalists Announced Officially!
The 66th edition of the Miss World pageant is slated to take place on 18th December 2016 at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States, Washington, D.C. During the conclusion of the pageant, Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain will pass on her crown to her successor.
With only one day left for the crowning of new Miss World, the organization released the Top 5 finalists list to the audience for the most crucial and significant segment of the pageant, the “Beauty with a Purpose” round.
Interestingly, the challenge event was dominated by four Asians and one African with total blackout of American or European delegates. Making it to the Top 5 of “Beauty with a Purpose” are none other than-
- India- Priyadarshini Chatterjee
- Philippines- Catriona Gray
- Indonesia- Natasha Mannuela
- Nepal- Asmi Shrestha
- Kenya- Evelyn Njambi Thungu
Since this segment is considered to be one of the most vital one, do not be surprised if one of them walks home with the Miss World crown tomorrow.
