Baylee Jensen To Represent Utah at Miss USA 2017
Baylee Jensen was crowned as Miss Utah USA 2017 on November 19, 2016 at Layton High School. She succeeds Teale Murdock and will now represent Utah in the coming edition of Miss USA 2017, wherein Deshauna Barber of District of Columbia will pass on her crown to her successor.
During the coronation gala of Miss Utah USA 2017, Narine Ishhanov was titled as the first runner up, Shona Seifert was adjudged as the second runner-up, Thelina Smith was announced as the third runner up and Dani Braun finished as the fourth runner-up.
At the same pageant, Rachel Bell was crowned as Miss Teen Utah USA 2017. She will represent Utah at Miss Teen USA 2017, whereby Karlie Hay of Texas will crown her successor.
Utah has two Miss USA crowns under the representation of Charlotte Sheffield (1957) and Linda Bement (1960). It has been more than 45 years since the state has grabbed the Miss USA title. The state last placed at Miss USA in 2013 under the representation of Marissa Powell, who was adjudged as the third runner up to Miss USA 2013 alongside winning the subtitle of Miss Photogenic.
