Raissa Santana is Miss Brasil 2016
Raissa Santana was crowned as Miss Brasil 2016 on October 1, 2016 at the Citibank Hall. Raissa Santana succeeds Miss Universe Brazil 2015, Marthina Brandt and will now represent Brazil in the coming edition of Miss Universe 2016, hoping to be crowned by the reigning Miss Universe, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach of Philippines.
Danielle Marion of Rio Grande do Norte was titled as the first runner up and Deise D’anne of Maranhão was adjudged as the second runner up.
Brazil has won Miss Universe crown twice in the year 1963 and 1968 under the representation of Iêda Maria Vargas and Martha Vasconcellos respectively.
