Suzana Sampeur Crowned Miss World Haiti 2016
Suzana Sampeur was crowned as Miss World Haiti 2016 on August 13, 2016 at the Royal Decameron. Suzana Sampeur succeeds Miss World Haiti 2015, Seydina Allen and will now represent Haiti at Miss World 2016 in United States in the coming December, hoping to succeed Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain as next Miss World.
During the same event, Armelle Rose Williams was adjudged as the first runner-up, Raquel Pélissier was announced as the second runner-up, Cassandre Joseph was titled as the third runner-up and Danourah Beloved finished as the fourth runner-up.
This year twelve candidates competed to win the title of Miss Haiti 2016.
Twenty years old, Suzana Sampeur is a model by profession alongside being a student in Business Management. Her leisure pursuits include fashion, shopping, modeling, dancing, board games and cooking.
Her “Beauty with a Purpose” project at Miss World 2016 would revolve around helping the men and women of the third age. Sampeur plans to mobilize the necessary human resources and invite the people across her nation to unite to achieve the objective.
Joelle Apollon is the highest placement earner from Haiti at Miss World pageant. Joelle Apollon was adjudged as the fifth runner up at Miss World 1975.
