Meet The Coronation Gala Hosts of Miss America 2017
The 96th edition of Miss America pageant is scheduled to take place on September 11, 2016 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey. In the conclusion of the Miss America 2017 pageant, Betty Cantrell from Georgia will pass on her crown to her successor.
With about only one month left for the grand finale of Miss America 2017, Miss America Organization announced the hosts of the coronation night of Miss America 2017. This year Chris Harrison will return as host of Miss America pageant for his eighth year, alongside Sage Steele, who would be taking the Miss America stage for the very first time.
TV personality, Chris Harrison is best known for ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire”. While Sage Steele is an esteemed host and commentator for ABC’s and ESPN’s “NBA Countdown”.
On his return as host for Miss America pageant, Chris Harrison said, “For 96 years, Miss America has shone light on some of the brightest and most talented young women in the country. This year will surely be a fun-filled night showcasing talent, glamour, fitness, presentation and community achievement as the country’s brightest compete for the crown!”
On the other hand, Sage Steele, who will make the debut as the host for Miss America pageant opined, “There’s always such a high level of drama and competitiveness during the Miss America Competition that rivals many sporting events that I’ve covered. I can’t wait to host alongside Chris Harrison to see what this year brings.”
On the other hand, gracing the eminent jury panel for Miss America 2017 pageant are none other than, Sharlene Wells Hawkes, Cole Swindell, Sara Foster and Mark Cuban. (More details about the judges here!)
