Nguyễn Thị Lệ Nam Em Crowned Miss Earth Vietnam 2016

Nguyễn Thị Lệ Nam Em was crowned as Miss Earth Vietnam 2016 on July 28, 2016. Nguyễn Thị Lệ Nam Em will represent Vietnam at Miss Earth 2016 in Philippines later this year, hoping to get crowned by the reigning Miss Earth, Angelia Gabrena Ong from Philippines.

Đỗ Hoàng Anh was the last representative from Vietnam to compete at Miss Earth pageant. After absence of three years, Vietnam is all set to make a come back at Miss Earth pageant.

Although Vietnam has never won the Miss Earth crown, it has managed to place at Miss Earth pageant once in eight years of its participation. Lưu Thị Diễm Hương is the only placement holder from Vietnam at Miss Earth, who was adjudged as the Top 14 finalist at Miss Earth 2010, which was eventually won by Nicole Faria from India.
