Camille Sims Is Miss New York 2016
Camille Sims was crowned Miss New York 2016 on May 28, 2016 at the St. George Theater on Staten Island, New York. Camille Sims succeeds Jamie Lynn Macchia, and will represent New York in the upcoming edition of Miss America 2017, which is slated to be held on September 11, 2017 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City .
During the coronation gala of Miss New York 2016, Baylee Simpson was titled as first runner up, Meghan Sinisi was adjudged as second runner up, Kristina Blackstock was announced as third runner up and Mackenzie Perpich was declared as fourth runner up.

Camille Sims has won quite a few pageants in past, amongst which are Miss Fulton County Outstanding Teen 2007, Capital City’s Outstanding Teen 2010, Miss Finger Lakes 2013, Miss Fulton County 2015 and Miss Pride of New York 2016. She was also the second runner up in Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageant and has competed in Miss Georgia 2015 pageant.
New York has won six crowns of Miss America, which makes Camille Sims a strong sash to reckon with in the coming edition of Miss America 2017.
