The grand finale of Miss Northern Ireland was attended by 17 former Miss Northern Ireland titleholders like Lucy Evangelista McCullough, Lori Moore and Rebekah Shirley.
After clinching the coveted crown, Emma took her official Twitter handle to express her happiness– “I still can’t believe it! I’m so grateful and super excited for the year ahead #TherapieMissNorthernIreland2016. It was amazing, the whole weekend has just been fantastic. I did not expect to win, I am just so excited, overwhelmed and grateful to be given this opportunity. I want to use it to do some good. The competition was just fantastic, I would like to do it all over again. I was so shocked to win, I was up against 25 other amazing girls and then to get to the final 10 of strong beautiful women and to win, I could not believe it. I am looking forward to everything Miss Northern Ireland will entail and putting myself out there and helping empower other people. I’m also definitely excited about going to Miss World.”
