Ffion Moyle Crowned Miss World Wales 2016
Ffion Moyle from Carmarthen was crowned as Miss Wales 2016 in the grand finale held on April 16, 2016 at the Princess Royal Theater in Port Talbot, Wales. Ffion Moyle succeeds Emma Jenkins. Ffion Moyle will now represent Wales at Miss World 2016. During the coronation night of Miss Wales 2016, Sophie Bell was titled as the first runner-up and Victoria Grinnall was adjudged as the second runner-up.
The newly crowned Miss World Wales 2016, Ffion Moyle, who is 23 years old, is a makeup artist in Tinopolis.
Wales has a decent record at Miss World pageant. Since 1999, the winner of Miss Wales has represented Wales at the Miss World pageant. Sophie Moulds, who was crowned as Miss Wales 2012 earned the nation its highest placement at Miss World 2012, held in China, where she was titled as the first runner up along with bagging the “Continental Queen of Europe” title as well as “Miss World Beach Beauty” title. Wales has placed only twice at Miss World pageant, but has managed to place at many prominent fastrack events of Miss World pageant.
