Pia Wurtzbach Enjoys Her Visit to Canada


Miss Universe 2015, Pia Wurtzbach is in Canada

The reigning Miss Universe, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has no time to take respite! After attending New York fashion week subsequent to her stint as the Super Bowl Correspondent and promoting the HIV/AIDS prevention campaign, Pia Wurtzbach has reached Canada.

Miss Universe 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach is presently in Canada to support the “Sick Kids Foundation” and will join the reigning Miss Universe Canada, Paola Nunez, who also competed with Pia Wurtzbach during Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas on December 20th 2015. It is reported that, Pia Wurtzbach will also be meeting the much esteemed former Prime Minister, John Turner to deliver a message of Diversity in Canada & Anti-Bullying amongst the Canadian masses.

During her visit, Pia Wurtzbach also met some of the contestants vying for the title of Miss Universe Canada 2016. Pia’s visit was a surprise to all the enthusiastic contestants as the reigning Miss Universe met the beautiful ladies during their rehearsals in Toronto on 29th February 2016 afternoon and enlightened them with some inspirational messages. Pia revealed that the delegates, who are on the verge to begin their journey to become Miss Universe Canada, must be experiencing pressure naturally, but they should not lose the focus on their ultimate goal, enjoying every bit of their moment.

Pia added in her speech: “Be good to yourselves and good to each other and root for each other. Get to know each other and support each other and be there when adversity comes.” Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach is in Toronto till Tuesday, 1st March 2016. During her stay, the Filipino- German beauty will appear at the Speakers Forum for the International Students of the Language Academy of Canada and at the Toronto Reference Library on Yonge St. where she will deliver an anti-bullying message. Subsequently, Miss Universe will attend the Toronto Welcome Dinner fundraiser at the Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse, 230 Adelaide St. W., to support the Sick Kids Foundation.
