The reigning Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach walked down the runway in the Carmen Marc Valvo designer red evening gown at the much anticipated New York Fashion Week Day 1.
After her interlude as a special correspondent for Inside Edition in Super Bowl 50 in Santa Clara, California, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach returned to New York and participated in a fashion event in the lively city.
On Thursday, February 11 2016, Pia was one of the stars who walked down the runway for the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women‘s fashion event presented by Macy’s. The Fashion Show was themed as The Shows at The Dock, and was held at the Skylight at Moynihan Station.
Joining the event was Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo, who was also one of the judges at Miss Universe 2015.
Gracing the red carpet was also the reigning Miss USA Olivia Jordan, who was also the second runner up to Pia Wurtzbach at Miss Universe 2015.
Prior to gracing the runway, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was also found attending the Nicholas K Fall 2016 fashion show during New York Fashion Week: on February 11, 2016 in New York City. Pia was found donning a Nicholas K Studio dress and Monika Chiang accessories.
Proving her charisma, Pia Wurtzbach is truly living the most of her reign in sheer grandeur. Be it a sports event, scintillating fashion shows or heart touching charity events, the Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach shows her best of the facets.
On the Day 2 of New York Fashion Week, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach and Miss USA Olivia Jordan walked the runway for Sherri Hill. During the show, Pia Wurtzbach looked exquisite in formal blue evening gown. Prior to the show, Pia Wurtzbach posed with the supermodel Carmen Dell’Orefice, the very popular personality of New York Fashion Week at the backstage.
The queen of Universe is currently in New York, fulfilling her duties as Miss Universe, but her fellow countrymen are proudly anticipating her revisit to Philippines during Binibining Pilipinas 2016 grand finale, where she will crown her successor for the Miss Universe 2016 pageant.
